How Often Should I Replace/Service Tires?

Tires don’t last forever, and knowing when to replace them is the difference between a safe ride and a dangerous one. If you see uneven wear, flat spots, or sidewall cracking, it’s time for new rubber. Worn tread not only reduces grip but also impacts your ability to stop and corner safely.

Other warning signs include:

- Frequent air loss or slow leaks

- Handling that feels “loose” or unstable

- Excessive vibration, even after balancing

Even if your bike has been sitting, tires can harden and lose traction over time. For dirt bikes and ATVs, knobby wear and sidewall damage happen quicker due to rough terrain - which makes regular checks even more important.
